Sirindhorn Dam is called Khuean Dom Noi by the locals, the rockfill dam with a clay core was constructed across the Lam Dom Noi, a tributary of the Mun River. The hydroelectric dam is 42 meters high and 940 meters long. It also supports irrigation in the area. By the reservoir, Sirindhorn Park is a beautiful place with colorful garden, sculptures, fountains, and guesthouses. To get there motorists can use Highway 217, turn right at Km. 71 and keep going for another 500 meters. The dam is 70 km from Amphoe Mueang.
